Greetings from Southwest Soccer Club.

 

We’re excited that our tournament is finally here.  Judging by the clubs and teams entered, the competition should be good.  We have vendors in every category…  food, drinks, photos, equipment and ice cream.  The weather forecast is warm and sunny (players – arrive hydrated!)  It’s looking like we’re in for a great weekend of soccer in the beautiful Temecula Valley of Southwest Riverside County.

 

Please review the following checklist to make sure you’re prepared for your tournament check-in.  If we start with an efficient check-in, it will help the entire tournament flow smoothly.

 

Tournament Check-In Time, Location and Directions:

Tournament check-in is Friday evening between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM.  The check-in address is 42232 Rio Nedo Rd, Temecula, CA.  Exit I-15 at Winchester Rd., go west to Diaz Rd., turn left (south) on Diaz Rd.  The first street you come to will be Rio Nedo Rd.  Turn right (west) on Rio Nedo Rd. and look to your right for the Southwest Traders building.

 

Items that MUST be brought with you to Friday Night’s Check-In:

1.      All Medical Release Forms;

2.      2002-2003 laminated player passes with photos;

3.      Four COMPLETED Match Reports.  You can print the blank forms from our website.  Complete them before you arrive and bring them with you to Check-In.  The link for the Match Reports is…  www.southwestsoccerclub.com/june2003/MatchReport.pdf

4.      Emergency contact phone numbers (cellular) for both the coach and the manager.

 

Things to Remember about Game Day at The Complex:

1.      Plan for traffic on the roadway and congestion at the complex.  ARRIVE EARLY!!!

3.      Check-in your team with the Field Marshals 30 minutes before each one of your games.

6.                              All coaches must have the following items at each game…

A 2002-2003 season, white, laminated, team administrator card for the club they are representing and a current coaches blue Risk Management card. For more detailed information on Risk Management, please check the CalSouth website… www.calsouth.com/risk.htm

 

General Complex Information:

THERE IS A “NO PETS ALLOWED” POLICY AT THE JBMSC.  NO EXCEPTIONS!

Please be advised… You will be asked to take your pet from the Complex.

There is over 3 acres of grass picnic area, including 10 large shade trees to use between games.

No canopies are to be set up in the field area, due to limited space between fields.

Canopies are OK to place in the grass picnic area, but please remember our prevailing winds.  Be safe and make certain your canopies are secure.

We ask that everyone exit the field area immediately after each game.  Warm up areas are limited.

General Parking is $5.00 per car.  RV’s are welcome.  Parking for RV’s is $10.00.  There is also limited Preferred Parking available, for cars only, on a space available basis, at $10.00 per car.

 

Directions to the John Blanche Memorial Soccer Complex:
