The BU-15 team was off to a rocky start at the Encinitas Rotary Cup Tournament in August. Their first game Saturday against the Matrix Mavericks came out with a 0-0 tie. Coach Pete Gregory was then able to fire up the boys for their next game against Vista Storm which proved success with a 2-1 win. Sunday morning gave the team one more hurdle to cross before making it to the finals. The boys were able to come up with a win against the Crusaders 2-0.
It seemed that in the finals there was nothing that could stop the team. They had a fruitful win, 4-2, against the Mustangs that got them the Championship medals!
