The Boys Under 12 team advanced to the Open State Cup semifinals by winning their round of 32/16/8 games this past weekend at the Lancaster Soccer Complex. All 3 of the teams played this weekend are classified as Silver Elite or higher in the Coast Soccer League. Team manager Roy Howard commented, "The teams were very physical and in the last two games the Southwest Soccer team had to come back from a one or two goal lead by the other teams. The boys persevered and with help from our guest players from Desert United we were able to come from behind to win both games and advance to the semifinals."
