ODP Training Comes to John Blanche Memorial Soccer Complex
The Southwest Soccer Club was pleased to host the CYSA-South ODP (Olympic Development Program) training at the John Blanche Memorial Soccer Complex. The ODP players were at the complex for two weekends in January. ODP official Billy McNicol had this to say about the complex, "The John Blanche Soccer Complex is an ideal place to have our ODP Training. With 300 players in the program, we need plenty of space if we want to have our pools to be together. I will definitely look to bring the teams here again."
Both boys and girls ages U13-U17 from clubs all over Southern California participated.
It was a great showing of talent from this group and the parents and O.D.P. coaches and officials were very complimentary of the facility.
