BU17 team clinches first place in CSL Gold Division

The Southwest SC U17 Boys clinched the first place spot in the Gold Division of the Coast Soccer League by winning at Cerritos on Saturday, November 16. Although the margin of th victory was by a narrow 1-0 score (goal scored by Blaine Smith) the Boys U17 team were in no danger of defeat as the Cerritos team barely mustered a single shot on goal during the game.

The Boys U17 team will now advance to the Premier Division of the Coast Soccer League and Coach Roy Rees hopes to build on a highly successful, undefeated season.

The team has also advanced to the last 32 of the League Cup by beating the Gold Division team PCSC Autobahn by a comprehensive score of 3-1.

The team is looking forward to representing Southwest SC in the Premier Division of the Coast Soccer League next year.
