Danny Kelly - World Class Player

Southwest SC wants to congratulate B86 Keeper Danny Kelly. Danny was recently selected to represent the Cal South ODP (Olympic Development Program) first team at the “86 Regional Tournament held the week of July 15 at Linfield College in McMinnville, OR. Sixteen (16) teams representing the 14 Western States participated in the Region IV Tournament. After a week of rigorous training and daily games, Danny earned and was given the “Golden Glove” Award as the+ best keeper overall. If that wasn’t exciting enough, Danny then found out he was selected to the Region IV ODP Team, one of only three goal keepers chosen to represent the 14 Western States. Now Danny’s expecting to be doing some traveling. In the months ahead, the regional team will be going global, starting with a tournament in Costa Rica. Way to go, Danny!! You’re on your way to becoming a “World Class Soccer Player!”
