GU9 Take 2nd Place at Encinitas Rotary Cup!

Against all odds these girls "kept their shape" all weekend and landed a spot in the finals... They were up against an extremely challenging team. The score was tied 1-1 until seconds left on the clock, Fire shoots and scores a goal. Every effort was attempted by the goalie; Megan Gibson but this goal could not be stopped! Fire takes first place but what an accomplishment and proud moment for these young girls who have worked so hard with coach Jenny Lawlor and assistant coach Craig.
