SOUTHWEST SOCCER WINTER CLASSIC 2006

**MANDANTORY TEAM CHECK-IN

Will be held 1 hour prior to your first game on Saturday morning at the fields. Please look for the large white tent.

You must bring the following documents to Team Check-In otherwise you will not be allowed to play.

1. Laminated Player Cards – 2005/2006 season

2. Current Player Registration Form (Medical Releases) & provide a copy of Birth Certificate in case of a problem

3. MATCH REPORT – Completed and Copied (Printed) on to “white/off white” Cardstock. Very important!!! – See Microsoft Excel attachment for Match Report Form.

4. Hotel Information if staying the night. - Form attached

5. Emergency Contact cell phone #’s for both your coach & manager – Form Attached

6. Travel Papers – If needed

Match Report

Your Match Report must be filled out prior to check-in. Print on cardstock.

The Field Marshall will keep the Match Reports after each game. It is the responsibility of the team to pick up their Match Report prior to your games. You may pick up your Match Report 1 hour before game time.

THINGS TO REMEMBER REGARDING GAME DAY AT THE COMPLEX:

1. Plan for traffic on the roadway and congestion at the complex – ARRIVE EARLY!!
2. Make it easy on yourself and bring along a Field Layout Map (which will also help you with parking).
3. Check in your team with the Field Marshall’s 30 minutes before each on of your games
4. Check for last minute schedule changes on the Tournament website
5. Please print out and read the Tournament Rules
6. All Coaches/Team Administrators must have the following at each game:
1. 2005-2006 season white laminated team administrator card for the club they are representing

GENERAL COMPLEX INFORMATION:

There is a “NO PETS ALLOWED” policy at the complex. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

Please be advised…YOU WILL BE ADVISED TO REMOVE YOUR PET FROM THE COMPLEX IF SIGHTED

There are over 3 acres of grass for picnicking including 10 large shade trees to use between games. Canopies are not to be set up between fields that have limited space between them. Please remember that Temecula has an afternoon breeze that picks up in the afternoon and your canopies must be secured/weighted down. Be safe and make sure they are secured.

Warm up areas are limited

General Parking is $ 5.00 per vehicle.

DIRECTIONS TO THE JOHN BLANCHE MEMORIAL SOCCER COMPLEX- JBMSC:

From the San Diego area...
Take I-15 north, exiting at the Winchester Rd. off ramp (SR79-N.)
Turn left and go over the freeway (West) to Diaz Rd.
At Diaz Rd., turn right (North.)
The John Blanche Memorial Soccer Complex is at the north end of Diaz Rd.

From the Corona area...
Take I-15 south, exiting at the Winchester Rd. off ramp (SR79-N.)
Turn right off the freeway (West) onto Winchester Rd. and proceed to Diaz Rd.
At Diaz Rd., turn right (North.)
The John Blanche Memorial Soccer Complex is at the north end of Diaz Rd

**GOOD TEAM EATING PLACES – We will have food vendors available on site during the Tournament. For those of you who are staying over here are some other options:

TGI Friday’s – Winchester Rd./Ynez, Temecula

Stadium Pizza – Jefferson Ave/Winchester Rd, Temecula (Behind the Car Wash to the North)

Temecula Promenade has a food court and a movie theater. From the fields go south to Diaz Rd. turn left (west) on to Winchester Rd, Go over the freeway, past Ynez Rd. Mall entrances will be to your right.
