Sky Tracker - Posty
Sky Tracker this week gets the views from one of our U16 players. Posty is now in his third season with the club and has played a vital role over the last few seasons in helping teams gain promotion. This season he has found himself at the over end of the table, but has produced some battling displays for his team and has been a great server to the club
Name : Bradley Post Age: 16 Nickname: Posty Team: SWSC BU16 White 1. How do you spend your time before a game? Relaxing and resting or watching football 2. Do you read any info on the team before you play them? Yeah, maybe their record and how they did against teams we’ve played. 3. What do you eat prior to a game? I usually eat whatever my mom makes for me. 4. Do you suffer any pre-match nerves? Not really. I am usually pretty calm before games. 5. Do you have any match day superstitions or lucky charms? No, I just go out there and play. 6. What do you like to do to unwind after a game? I like to get an icee and then watch t.v. 7. If it's an away game, how do you pass the time on the journey? Listen to my ipod and sleep 8. What Older and Younger players at the club have you enjoyed training with? I don’t know I enjoy practicing with just about anyone. 9. Whats Your Best game? My best game would probably be the game I actually scored in. I don’t know who it was we were playing, but it was during the Dave Shelton Memorial Tournament over the summer in 06 in which I scored a half field shot that got us a tie and eventually into the finals. 10. Your Best goal? My Chuck Norris karate kick from half field to tie the game against the team whose name escapes me. 11. Your worst performance? The game against Quest Dragons in the final of the Nott’s Forest Tournament in ’06. I played terrible, bad touch, wasn’t focused and was even sent off with a red for some strange unknown reason. 12. Do you wear coloured boots? Yeah. Why not, I mean come on they are the best. 13. What do you like about SWSC? The coaching and the opportunities. 14. What do you like about your team? Everything, there is nothing to dislike. Everyone has a good time when we are together and we always find a way to laugh at just about everything.
